Before the end of the school year, I just asked my friend Mart if there's a possibility that he can shoot me for my blog. I forgot how the conversation went but I thought he didn't took it seriously, until one time we were walking through Robinson's and told me that he'll do the photoshoot if I will lose weight. :) And so I grabbed the chance! Haha. I really had a diet - less rice, less meals. And I even jogged...well for 2 days only and had at least 3-5 rounds...I just get tired so easily. :( haha.
Before the date of the shoot, I lost 5 pounds. I thought Mart wouldn't be okay with it but fortunately, we pushed through. He was then my photographer then I had my fashionista-friend Macee as my stylist and my super girl friend Yish as my make-up artist? Eherm. Groomer daw. That's how should I call her. Haha. :)
And a night before the shoot, I won't forget my conversation with the photographer.
Mart: Gising ka ng maaga bukas ah then try to exercise.
Jimpy: EXECISE is such a BIG WORD. Hahaha. But I will. :)
Mart: And you're big too.
LOL. I thought he's okay with my weight. Hahaha. But hey, I worked out that morning. :)
We had the shoot at BGC and they tried 3 looks for me. One was the artsy-artsy wherein I posed at the graffiti wall there, then a manly-me (Ermehgerd) at a construction site, and me and my loves & favorites. If that's how you call it. And here are the shots that passed my photographer's taste ('Cause I wasn't able to get the liberty of choosing. Hahaha. LOL. :D)
THE ARTSY. :)
You see, I had bipolar poses and smiles. Haha. They are trying to make me a man but the girly side of me won't just hide. :) Let's check out the next. This one's more...shocking. Hahaha.
THE MANLY-ME.
I personally loved the shots. Haha. And I admit, I'm gwapo in the last 2 shots, as people have said! Most of the best shots are candid, as Mart said. Thanks for the amazing styling of Macee in these shots. :) And my most favorite set! :))
THE REAL ME. :)
I can say that this is the real me shots 'coz number one, I am wearing pink, then next I am reading and writing. People knew so much that I wanted to be a writer and I want to publish my own book - as inspired by the book Parang Kayo Pero Hindi. :) The grass made my skin itch though. Hahaha.
And hey, thanks to these people! :)
My make-up artist Yish..eherm groomer! I actually didn't have make-up that time but she would do my retouch. :) But despite that, she's really my make-up artist everytime we need to be prettier than usual. :D
Stylist Macee! :) I really hired her. Haha. This is the second time I'll be working with her in a shoot with Mart 'coz we did our OBB shoot for our TV Production class. Her fashion sense is really awesome. :)
And of course, my photographer Mart. :) His ideas were really great that's why my pictures turned out great as well. And thanks for the patience! He edited the photos as well. How awesome, right? :D
AND that's it! :))) I hope you guys liked my pictures. If you didn't like them, then blame Mart. Lol. Joke. :)
