We Review: What Puring Wants, Coring Needs

Last May 17 and 19, Inkamouflage presented their initial production entitled "What Puring Wants, Coring Needs" at Crossroads 77 in QC.

What Puring Wants, Coring Needs is a satirical play that provides us a peek of what goes on the television industry which includes the network wars, the ratings game, and how the networks play around the audience to win the ratings game.

The story is about Puring and Coring, as they battle and try to outsmart each other in getting the "Ang Natatanging Manonood" award, as they fight for their channel bets - Channel 18 for Coring and Channel 21 for Puring.

The production really opened my eyes into the real world of TV Soap Operas. Alam nyong lahat yan na numero unong addict ako sa mga teleseryes. However, this play, despite of my love for teleseryes, made me think. Hindi think twice about my love for teleseryes ha! Haha! Pero marami kasing sinabi ang play about the production of those. And I am so happy that I was able to watch it and I was able to see the realities of Pinoy Soap Operas.

Napakagaling lang ng pagkakasulat because sobrang totoo. Of course, I won't mention kung anong napansin ko (pero kung di ko to napansin, super slow ko, kaya nga satire diba. Haha.) kase maso-spoil. Haha. Pero sobrang tama. Isama na din ang personality ni Coring - who is the dreamer, the soft-spoken believer of fairy tale love stories, and Puring - the less ethical, jologs but smarty-smart, na nag-match sa networks na nirerepresent nila. :) Plus of course, the acting of the actresses who portrayed them are as brilliant as the story. It's also good na nagincorporate ng music sa play, though the play never had dull moments, first time akong nakanood ng ganon. Di ko lang masyadong natype-an (pero naaliw pa rin ako!) yung change of costume sa umpisa kase medyo tumagal. Though yun nga, nakakaaliw pa rin! :)

To Playwright-Director Camoco Bafflaga, I super idolize you for being so straightforward, so honest and so brave to tackle about this. Aminin natin, nagiging problema na rin ng nation ang pagiging bulag ng iba sa panunuod ng telebisyon to the point na nagiging sobra na ang influence nila sa atin (TEKA. Ako to ha. HAHAHA.). And you just opened my eyes, that maybe kailangan ko na ding limitahan ang sarili ko for being too addict, though guys di naman ako naging close-minded ha. Hahaha! Sana makilala kita, that's my new dream. :)

Bilang nangangarap na maging writer ng mga teleseryes, dapat lang talaga na mapanuod ko ito because it's an eye-opener for me, on what should we offer the audience. BUT hindi rin kasalanan ng mga writers kung bakit minsan paulit-ulit ang nakikita natin sa TV ha. I swear, they are not to blame. :) Haha.

To the people behind this play including Miss Bing Castro, Miss Rose Colindres, Miss Tanya Bautista,  Miss Chie Floresca, Sir JR Garcia and Sir Ruel Montanez and sa iba na hindi ko nabanggit (yung totoo, LMD Unit Writers Collaboration ito? Hahaha joke lang po), congratulations po for putting up a great show! Sana magbalik kayo. Madami pang mata ang dapat buksan at gustong mabuksan. :)

But in the end, isa lang masasabi ko, TELESERYE ADDICT pa rin ako...BUT SMARTER. :)

Ang nagdala sa akin sa Paraiso...

Simula pa lang pagkabata ko talaga, fan na fan na ako ng mga Teleserye and lahat ng followers ko, friends ko, kapamilya ko, alam na alam yan. Ang hindi maka-alam nito, it's either stranger, di ako ka-close (pero hindi rin!) or kinalimutan na ako talaga. Haha.

Sa pagiging fan ko ng mga Teleseryes, naging hobby ko na rin mangolekta ng mga Teleserye Items. Alam niyo na history niyan, though sige, magpopost ako uli about that sa ibang entry. Maybe next time. Haha. Dahil hindi naman ito ang focus ng blog entry.

Wag na kayo magtaka na ang title ng blog entry na ito ay "Ang nagdala sa akin sa Paraiso..." dahil alam niyo na naman siguro why. Pero sa mga hindi pa nakakaalam (na pwedeng meron kase siyempre readers ko sila but we don't know each other personally haha, or may mamimilosopo na hindi nila alam, or ang daldal ko lang talaga), ito ang mga dahilan.
1. Dahil Paraiso para sa akin ang mga Teleserye.
2. Dahil Paraiso para sa akin ang makarating sa mga events o bagay na may kinalaman sa career at happiness ko (malamang, nasa Paraiso ka ba kung di ka masaya?)
At no. 3. Dahil ang Paraisong tinutukoy ko, ay ang Precious Hearts Romances presents Paraiso.

Okay. So bakit 'Paraiso' ang nagdala sa akin sa Paraiso? Simply because this soap showed the fan in me ng mga teleseryes. Kumbaga ito ang halos kumumpleto sa pagiging fan ko ng mga Teleserye dahil sa mga napuntahan ko at nagawa ko. Una na diyan ang Press Conference na pinuntahan ko dahil ininvite ako ng Head Writer ng show na talagang malaking malaki ang utang na loob ko + nilo-look up kong talaga, si Miss Ruby Leah 'Bing' Castro. :)

Sige, bilang refreshment at dahil di ko talaga makakalimutan ang moment na ito, sariwain natin. :)

Last October 25, 2012 was an unexpected day dahil nga na-invite kami ng bestfriend kong si Cher sa Press Conference ng ABS-CBN. This is the first time na makakarating ulit ako sa ABS-CBN after 7 years. Salamat talaga kay Miss Bing dahil sa opportunity na ito. Nakakatuwa nga dahil isa ito sa inabangan kong PHR na maipalabas na. Akala ko kasi, ito ang papalit sa Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin, biglang pinalabas ang Hiyas at nag Pintada pa. :) Nameet ko dito ang Directors na sina Direk Rechie del Carmen and Direk Nico Hernandez, PHR Writers Sofia and Dawn Igloria (creator ng Isla Sanctuario, pinagbase ng Paraiso), Jessy Mendiola, Jewel Mische (na nahawakan ko ang iphone), one of my Celebrity Crushes na si Arron Villaflor and siyempre ang mga niloo-look up ko at mga ka-tweet ko lang dati (yung iba haha) na writers na sina Sir Jurey Mirafuentes, Sir Julius Villanueva, Sir Mike Transfiguracion and Miss Bianca Geli at siyempre ang head writer ng show na si Miss Bing. :)

Second naman sa mga nagawa ko para sa show ay ang paggwa ko ng blog entry na may kinalaman sa Paraiso, the Island of Dreams episode ng Jimpy TV. Dito inspired yun e. Hahaha.

Next, as of now, may 2 episode pa lang akong napuputol ang panunuod pero lahat, nasimulan ko. In short, wala pa akong namimiss na episode ng PHR: Paraiso kaya alam na alam ko kung paano umikot ang mga kwento ni Yanie, Brennan, Meagan at Justin. Isama mo na si Cassandra. :)

And last, siyempre, ang pag-attend ko ng Mall Show ng PHR: Paraiso (Love to Love) sa SM Center. Malapit lang siya sa amin kaya ako naka-attend! :) Ang masaya dito, naka-interact ko si Denise Laurel (at binigyan niya ako ng poster! My first official Teleserye poster! Haha! Nagbulungan din kami, nasa stage siya, nasa harap ako pero medyo malayo. Kaya medyo di kami nagkaintindihan, pero okay lang! Haha! :D), nakaholding hands ko si Jewel Mische at ang mas matagal kay Matteo Guidicelli! Naka eye to eye ko pa at mas matagal ng friend ko! :)) Nginitian din kami ni Matt Evans dahil may hawak kaming banner for Justin. :) Pinakamahalagang interaction ko dito was with Matteo, Matt and Denise dahil wala sila nung press con (Matteo had to leave early due to a flight, Matt was facing something, and Denise wasn't a part of the show yet), most especially kay Denise na sobrang paborito ko Click days pa lang. :)

And sa palagay ko, naka-attend man ako ng Press Con or hindi, magiging loyal pa rin ako sa show na ito. :) Dahil paborito ko talaga ang PHR and ito ang isa sa mga inaabangan kong kwento talaga. Huling patawad, nakabili na rin ako ng book nito (well lahat may book ako, and in case di nyo alam, Pintada was based sa Green Meadows ni Arielle, di kasi masyado nasabi while Pintada was airing. Haha.).

Nakakatuwa kasi right after the Press Con, tuloy pa rin ang communication ko with the writers most especially with Miss Bing - na mas naging close ko pa (haha, FC ata ako e. Pero ganun e!) after that. Kaya salamat talaga Miss Bing! Super. And may mga next shows na ang mga bida, Jessy is doing Maria Mercedes, Jewel Mische is said to be doing Apat Na Maria, and Denise is surely a part of the matagal na matagal na inantay na Anna Liza. Itong 3 soaps na ito, sure akong aabangan ko talaga. Malay niyo, dalhin din nila ako sa Paraiso. :)

Kaya naman huwag tayong bibitiw sa Huling 3 Linggo ng Precious Hearts Romances presents Paraiso, weekdays, 3:30 PM sa Kapamilya Gold after May Isang Pangarap. Malay niyo, ito na ang huling PHR dahil walang pinuplug na bago. :) Ito ay ang longest afternoon PHR kaya bongga ito kung last na nga talaga. I ♥ PHR and the best for me will always be Paraiso (kasunod ang Impostor, Lumayo, Midnight Phantom, Kristine, Ang Lalaking Nagmahal Sa Akin, Love Me Again, Hiyas, Alyna at Pintada). :D

I, James Patrick Anarcon, has decided to buy the Infinity Ring within the week of June 4-10, 2012. Once I had bought this, I promise to do the following:

A. STUDY HARD. I am buying this not only because of the urge of buying but I believe that this can inspire me to study harder. I need to make it to the CHAIRPERSON'S LIST or DEAN'S LIST this semester. (NO GRADE LOWER THAN 88!)

B. SAVE MONEY. I need to earn back what I have spent for the Infinity Ring - Php 1,050.00. I need to have it on or before the Mid-Term Examination.

C. NO MORE BUYING FOR THE COLLECTION - unless there is really a rare item or I deserve it. I should have done first things that I can be proud of (Published Article for TP, production for TSP, High results on an exam.).

I promise to do all these things and fulfill them. Buying the Infinity Ring should not only because of the collection, but for inspiration and improvement. You may go for what you want, but things always have a price. So make the most out of it. ♥

Collection Milestones: "My Collection".

"My Collection"

They may say I'm just wasting my time and MONEY for this, but at least I don't use my money for drinking, smoking and other vices.

They may say I'm JOLOGS 'coz my collection and my interest are so local. But at least i know that by this, I am showing my patriotism for the Filipino work and I don't need to pretend that I am sosyal just by keeping interest with the other countries' shows and films.

They may say negative things about my collection, but this is my happiness. And I hope no one wants to take that happiness away from me, because I won't let anyone do that.

I proudly present my Strength, my Happiness, my Teleserye Collection.

I started collecting these late year 2008, when I always print articles and information about soap operas, then in Summer 2009, I started printing logos and publicity photos for teleseryes.

October 2009 when I first bought my PHR Televised books - Ang Lalaking Nagmahal Sa Akin and Somewhere In My Heart.

December 2009 when I first bought a CD - The Best of Mga Awit Kapuso with Marian Rivera as Darna on the cover.

June 2010 when I started collecting items faithfully, when I bought the 60 Taon ng Musika at Pinoy Soap Opera, and in the following weeks, I started buying CDs weekly, with the start of Bituing Walang Ningning OST.

July 2010 when I first received a DVD for my birthday - Tayong Dalawa 1 & 2.

And the rest is history.

The Teleserye Love: Princess And I Taping

Iniisip ko pa kung sa Just Jimpy, The GFs Love, or sa The Teleserye Love, pero since mas bongga itong ikekwento ko, sa Teleserye Love na section na lang. Hahaha.

Pinlano namin ng Lukaretz (JC and Cher) na ulitin yung ginawa namin nung sectioning last 2010. Ang ineexpect kong mangyayari eh katulad nung dati. Hahaha. Halos pareho ang nangyari noon pero mas bongga ito...dahil...eto na. :)

Dapat talaga, di na kami vivisit sa Perps dahil gustong gusto ko na magSM Southmall. Pero ayaw naman namin ni JC na masayang ang pagCOMMUTE ulit at pagpunta samin ni Cher na nasa SM na isang ututan na lang. :) So pumunta na rin kami...then pagpasok namin sa U-Lane, aba, may mga ilaw sa may field..at di simpleng ilaw, ilaw na para sa taping! Kaya naalala ko, nagtataping nga pala Princess And I! So una muna di kami sumilip..pumuntang HS Department, walang tao. So sabi ko, punta na kami dun, dahil mukhang nako, may mga kaganapan! HAHA!

At bumalik kami...may nagtataping nga sa gym, at malayong malayo pa lang ako, kitang kita ko na na siya ay walang iba kundi si Dasho Jao a.k.a. ENRIQUE GIL! OMG! =)) Gwapo ng side view! So natapos na, at sinundan namin. Grabe kamo, ang pogi maglakad at ang angas! Pero astig! :D

So lumayas muna kami dahil gutom na kami. Hahaha. And pagbalik namin...maraming nangyari..and to cut the story short..napadpad kami sa fishpond at eto ang mga sumalubong samin.

DANIEL PADILLA AND KHALIL RAMOS! :'> Siyempre si Kathryn Bernardo rin. Ang ganda niya ah. pero shucks. Parang nung kelan lang inggit na inggit ako kay Denise kasi nakita niya si Khalil, biglang ako rin makikita ko! Bwahaha! :D

Grabe, pangarap ko talaga to eh. Kahit naman sino pang nagtataping masaya na akong makanuod. Si Anne Curtis dati sa Green Rose, and ngayon eto sila! Grabe, I love you Perps and ABS-CBN! Ang saya makita kung pano sineset-up lahat, paano kinukunan, at na-witness ko rin ang camaraderie nila sa trabaho. Si Daniel inaakbayan yung staff, si Kathryn nakakandong na parang baby dun sa isa, and naghuhug sila lahat. Walang tension. :)

Thanks sa mga mahal kong kaibigang si JC and Cher, and siyempre si Hannie, Sarah and Jobeth dahil sa pag-aantay saken. Sorry kung natagalan. Sayang lang at di ako nagkapicture..pero sana sa susunod din. :'>

The Teleserye Love: How I Wish?

How I wish na sana, nabuhay na lang ako bago mag 1992. Para napanood ko ang original Mara Clara.

How I wish na sana, noon ko pa narealize ang love ko sa Teleserye at hindi ngayon lang.

Ang dami kong namiss na magagandang soap operas, I mean, oo, naalala ko pa naman yung mga napanuod ko dati. Pero sana more vividly. Haha. :) Lalo na ang mga soap opera ng GMA. Based sa mga kwento ng mga nabasa ko sa forums, ang gaganda ng mga palabas nila. Yung Kung Mawawala Ka lalo! Ang ganda daw nun, and ang gusto ko Twin Hearts. :) TGIS din at Growing Up! Habang nagbabasa ako nung forum sa PEX, grabe, talagang gustong gusto nilang mapanuod.

 Sa ABS naman, aware ako sa lahat ng palabas nila pero siyempre di ko naman napanuod ng buo dahil bata pa ako nun, yung 'Marinella'. May mga naalala akong episode nun, namatay si Piolo Pascual dun. And sa ending namatay si Camille Prats, pero di ko na siya talagang maalala ng bongga. Pati Familia Zaragoza. Ang ganda ganda din daw nun. :)

I am satisfied with what I am watching, Legacy, Walang Hanggan, Mundo Man Ay Magunaw! Pero parang iba pa rin ang mga teleserye noon. Sana maglabas sila ng DVD ng lahat, kahit TGIS lang. Bibili talaga ako. :>

Movie Review: Every Breath U Take.

Last Saturday, I watched Every Breathe U Take sa SM Southmall and I paid 160 pesos. And in this critique, malalaman natin kung worth it ba ang binayad ko. :) HAHA!

Well. Ang masasabi ko lang at huwag na nating patagalin (para saan pa diba) eh hindi sayang! :) AS IN. Kase as in parang Corazon, di ko namn masyadong plinlano na manuod nito nung umpisa kung di lang dahil kay Angelica Panganiban at sa most favorite kong director na si Direk Mae Czarina Cruz. :)

If I can describe it in 3 words: It's funny, lovely and romantic. The fact na talagang nakarelate ako sa kanila lalo na kay Angelica!

Ang di ko makakalimutan dito is yung siyempre, yung part na nakarelate ako, nung sinabi ni Majoy na siya lang daw nagmamahal kay Leo, na one-sided lang daw ang love niya..pero di one-sided yung term eh. HAHA! :D And ang pinakagusto ko yung nagkiss sila sa rain then lumabas ang mga signs. Ang ganda ng eksenang yun, ang kilig na sweet na ang sarap talaga panuorin. AT Ang pinkanakakatawa naman, eto!

Leo: YOU'RE SO GULLIBLE! (Galit na galit)
Majoy: (umiiyak...pinunasan ang mata) Ano ba yung gullible? :(

HAHAHA! Wala lang natawa lang ako dun. Anyway, eto na, the casts and comments!

Angelica Panganiban as Majoy - WINNER! Actually nung una, sabi ko, di na masyadong bago to, kasi magaling naman si Angel magpatawa, pero IBA PALA! Dahil ang role niya, virgin, conservative, mahilig sa signs (parang ako talaga!) unlike yung iba niyang roles na seductive, vixenish, kontrabida and all. Ang galing ni Angelica dito at bagay din pala sa kanya maging mahinhin. :)

Piolo Pascual as Leo - Di ako poging pogi kay Piolo, but because of this movie, CRUSH KO NA SIYA! HAHAHA! :D Kakaiba din role niya dito. Laging mga role ni Piolo, martyr, badboy pero serious, dito iba, comedic talaga! At nakakatuwa sobra! Pero pag sa dramang part magaling na rin, fave part ko sa kanya yung pinaglaban na niya si Angelica! :)

Well the cast talaga is good. Nakakatawa si Wendy Valdez and Smokey Manaloto. Convincing si Ryan Eigenmann. Nakakatawa yung tanga-tangahan ni Carlos Agassi and Joross Gamboa (winner din ang pag-ubos ng shirt ni Carlos ha! HAHAHA!) Si Regine sayang di siya masyadong nagningning dito pero ang ganda ganda niya. Si Ketchup din nakakatawa. Si Ryan Bang lang ang di ko talaga type kasi naiirita ako on the way he speaks but definitely he improved. Konting pisil pa at i-improve pa ang speech, pero ang funny niya! :)

At ang story? NAKO COMPLETE TALAGA! Pag gawa talaga ng Star Cinema bongga. At nako, tandem pa ito ng gumawa ng Catch Me, I'm In Love! Writer Mel Mendoza-del Rosario and Director Mae Czarina Cruz, dalawa sa mga idols ko, ay bongga talaga tong movie! :)

To Direk Mae Cruz, pag nabasa niyo to, ang saya ko na. I am very vocal naman that Direk Mae is really one of my favorites (Maging Sino Ka Man, Magkaribal ang mga palabas niya oh, ang dalawang ultimate favorite shows ko, pag di ko rin siya naging favorite, KALOKOHAN NA! At ang ganda ng Babe I Love You at Catch Me I'm In Love ha!) and one of my inspirations and why I really want to have a career in this business. And lalo pa akong nainspire. Kasi di ko ineexpect na ang galing din niya sa comedy. Puro drama kasi ang napapanuod ko, pero ang galing talaga! :) Nung una pa nga, ayokong siya mag-direk nito kasi sayang, Angel-Piolo, eh di ko naman sila type. Pero ang bongga talaga nito! Congrats Direk Mae and goodluck sa next movie, sana magbalik TV ka na! :)

Over-all, the movie is really WORTH-WATCHING! So kung gusto niyong kiligin at tumawa, nood na!

Collection Milestones I: My Biggest Purchase.

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin DVD. It was the biggest purchase ever in my collection to date. :) I bought it for 899, as an advance reward for having good quiz results (for me) and surviving "NO MONEY MOMENTS" in school!

Actually, I was not saving for this, but I was planning to buy Walang Hanggan's Infinity Ring (Just Silver Gold, 1,050 Php.) but then I weighed purposes and benefits, and I chose this and I'll just have the infinity ring for my birthday (Actually this was supposed to be my gift for myself..so they exchanged places? HAHA!)

Well, before I buy this, I also had to stress myself thinking if I SHOULD really buy it and if I DESERVE it. Well...Here's the note that I have written last April 27, 2012, the day before I buy it.

April 27, 2012,

I really don't know what to feel right now. Sobrang gulong-gulo na ang isip ko. Bibili na ba ako? Hindi ko pa actually bilang kung magkano na yung naiipon ko. Pero alam ko naka 1K na ako. Kaso parang kinakabahan ako. This will be my biggest purchase for my collection. By the way, I'm not talking about the Infinity Ring. I've decided na hindi na muna bilhin yon. Masyadong mahal kasi and I think I don't deserve it yet. Kaya MLKI DVD na ang bibilhin ko, pero mahal din yon ha! Php 899.00 yun! :) Ok, so ngayon, manghihingi ako ng sign. Pag napasa ko 'tong quiz namin sa Biology, bibilhin ko na. Pero pag bagsak, I have to wait. HOO! Goodluck sa akin.

And after I wrote that, we had our Biology quiz, it's all about labeling the parts of the Skeletal System. That was so nakakaloka! Well actually it's unfair 'coz Ate Bea reviewed me, so I am confident that I will pass! HAHA! Pero at the last minute I got quite tensed. Haha. And fortunately, I passed it! I didn't nail it, but I passed, so there!

Then April 28, 2012 came. And it was so funny, it seemed like a teleserye. Hahaha! First, we went (unexpectedly) sa Tagaytay! It was okay because I need to thank Lord for this new achievement (Destination: Pink Sisters) and so when we went to SM South to buy it...eto na! I was so excited that I went first to Odyssey...and guess what! The DVD's sold out! So I went to Astroplus, and the Set 2 (Volumes 6-10) was the only stock. So I went to the Department Store and di ko sya nakita! So I asked the saleslady...and........she pointed the shelf...and it's there! THE LAST STOCK! WOW! Grabe! So siyempre I did buy it na! NO MORE, NO LESS, NO REGRETS!

Siyempre that was one of the happiest days in my life as a Teleserye Collector. Grabe. IT WAS A MILESTONE! :)

So thank you sa Nanay ko, who's giving me my baon, and I was able to save more than 1K. Kay Ate Bea and Lucs, my review mates for that life-changing quiz. When your happiness becomes an issue to others.

May mga bagay na talagang sadyang nagpapasaya sa atin, whether it may be a person, people or a thing, or things. It might give us the entertainment we wished to have, or whatever satisfaction we like.

Ako, madami akong happiness sa buhay, pero sa tingin kong talagang nakakapagpasaya sa kin is watching Teleseryes, reading all about it, at lahat lahat na ng craziness na magagawa ko.

Eto lang naman yung mga CRAZINESS na yun eh. :)

1. Nangongolekta ako ng memorabilia, so far marami rami na siya.
2. Todo promote ako pag may bagong teleserye, pero di ko na siya masyadong ginagawa ngayon, plus nagGGM ako pag may palabas na bago, or next na. Yung susunod na, ginawa ko lang yun sa Magkaribal, Nasaan ka Elisa o kaya pag finale show.
3. Pinapanuod ko sa internet yung mga namimiss kong episodes ng show. Pero recently lang ako nagstart na talagang every night.
4. Nagbabasa ako ng mga tungkol sa Teleserye, pag may latest. Pero lagi ko siyang bukambibig, as in all the time.
5. Gumagawa ako ng sarili kong mga teleserye. Pangarap ko kaya maging writer.
6. Na-apply ko ang mga linya ng teleserye sa real life. Pag nanunuod ako lalo na ng Magkaribal, memorize ko na. Haha. :)

Sa pagkakaalam ko, yan lang naman ang ginagawa ko. Kaso nagiging issue na siya sa iba, mapasa school o sa bahay. I really don't know why, but I don't think naman that they're hindering my happiness, but the fact that it is an issue to them, it's just so plain shit. Walang pakialamanan diba. I know some are concerned, and they're telling me that it's too much. But honestly, I can't see anything wrong, I don't think it's too much. Unless nakasakit na ako, or worse nasaktan ko na sarili ko, like yakap ko na yung TV na bukas pagtulog.

May nagsabi sa akin na nakakaapekto na daw ang addiction ko sa iba. For example is that nagGM ako ng bagong TV show and they watched it because of me. Hello, I just did that to promote, not to command or dictate that you should watch it. Affecting others isn't my fault, it's theirs because they let themselves be affected or whatever, so clearly, I have no say with that. Of course gusto ko na mapanuod nila that's why I am promoting, but that doesn't mean they really have to watch it or what.

Next, ang Jologs na daw ng addiction ko. I am not hurt with that, but shit, don't you think that it's actually patriotism that is being practiced here? MyG! Watching foreign movies is good, but the fact that you insult your own country's works. Oo maaaring ang ideas natin minsan recycled na, but there is still that Philippine touch. And honestly, I do think that we are the best creators of soap operas. The other countries, all they know was fantasy and fantasy, suspense and suspense. Their love stories are cool, and our love stories may be repetitive. But whatever you say, ALL LOVE STORIES ARE THE SAME, JUST NEW PLOT, NEW SITUATION, but it's still A DAMN LOVE STORY!

Next, my school friends and I are talking about Teleseryes and the 1st of the 10 Commandments which is "You should not have other Gods besides me.". And they say that I am actually making Teleseryes my god alongside our Creator. Yes I know I am too addicted with soap operas, but I am not forgetting my obligations with Christ. Yes I know there are temptations that I don't like to attend mass because there's The Buzz and all, but at the end of the day, I am with God the Father, fulfilling my Sunday Obligation, loving and respecting God as who He is, and I pray every night, I don't replace God with other things, with Teleseryes or what. I know to myself that I never did that. :)

WHOO! Nailabas ko din lahat ng nasa puso ko. Grabe parang maiiyak ako habang sinusulat ko to. Eh kasi namin, I understand naman why are they reacting that way. They also have their addictions, but I guess they're not as dedicated as I am. And I believe that this will be my future job. Gusto ko tong ginagawa ko, mahal ko tong ginagawa ko. And I am looking forward to be a teleserye writer, and I can visualize it. Ang dami ng concepts ko, and I believe, di naman sa pagyayabang, na I have what it takes to be one, I have the talent to be. Wala na akong pakialam kung magkakaroon ako ng competitors but to fulfill my dream, that is a big achievement for me!

Basta ako, hangga't alam ko wala akong ginagawang masama, ipagpapatuloy ko to. Hindi ko sinasamba ang mga teleserye. Maybe you have your own definitions of "samba" but I have my own criteria. Wala akong ipinagpapalit. Nagpopromote, nangongolekta, nanunuod, nagsusulat. Yan lang ang ginagawa ko sa buhay ko kasama ang mga teleserye, at wala ng iba. :)

Bigyan niyo na lang ako ng bagong HAPPINESS, o kaya sabihin niyo kay ano, PASAYAHIN niya ko, baka madivert pa attention ko, but I don't think not. Ahaha. :)

By the way, kung nakikita mo to sa blogspot, makikita mo rin to sa tumblr. At kung makikita mo to sa tumblr, makikita mo din to sa blogspot, at kung saan ka man mapadpad, nasa Facebook Notes ko to. If ever, ngayon lang ulit ako magpopost sa FB Notes, para madami makabasa ng sentiments ko. Nyahaha. :)

Anyway, nabanggit ko sa una kong blog na sobrang pangarap kong maging Writer. :) Talagang nabubuhayan ako ng loob kapag ka napag-uusapan yon eh! HAHA! Like last Saturday and last Tuesday, nakausap ko yung friend ko, dream naman daw niya maging director, tas nagpatulong siya for his storyline, ayun good thing I was able to help him and afterwards he told me that pwede na daw ako maging writer! :'> Ewan ko kung echos lang yon ha! (Jake, ineechos mo lang ba 'ko? HAHA LOLJK.)

Pero ako, I do believe that with my will, determination, talent and beauty (ay talagang kasama! KALOKA BABY! :D) eh maabot ko ang dream ko. I told you sa previous blog na I am making a story about stylists, pero napagtripan kong i-revise at ngayon, tungkol na siya sa mga sosyal. Hindi siya parang Alta ha, iba atake nito. 4 na klase ng tao. Isang totoong sosyal vs Gustong maging sosyal (mga bida sila) with Sosyal yun pala mahirap vs Jologs and their love teams and family in between. Chaka ko na i-e-elaborate pag nabuntis ko na ang plot. :)

Teleserye Review: Mundo Man Ay Magunaw

This January, madaming shows ang nag premiere. Walang Hanggan, Legacy, Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin, E-boy. Pero ang pinaka nakaagaw talaga ng attention ko was Mundo Man Ay Magunaw.

Nung napanuod ko yung teaser sa youtube, at sa mga nabasa ko sa forum, the soap really looks promising. This was actually a remake from the 1990 movie, starring Sheryl Cruz, Jennifer Sevilla and Romnick Sarmienta, with Leroy Salvador as director, and Salvador Royales as creator. Sa version na ito, Empress takes Sheryl's role, Nikki Gil takes Jennifer's and Ejay Falcon takes Romnick's. With Eula Valdes, Sylvia Sanchez, Allan Paule and Tessie Tomas. And now directed by Jeffrey Jeturian and Rechie del Carmen. If mapapansin ng mga nakanuod, based sa mga gumanap sa original version ang names ng mga characters ng 2012 version.

January 30 nagstart yung soap na to. Originally, this will be aired at 2:45 PM sa Kapamilya Gold kapalit ng Heartstrings, pero dahil mamaalam na ang Happy Yipee Yehey sa ere at mamahinga pansamantala ang showtime that week, nilagay to sa 11:30AM slot. Pero after a week, inilagay na ito sa 2:30 PM.

Well, the pilot episode was really promising, napakaglossy ng paggawa. Jodi playing the young Eula Valdes was really good, it seemed like hindi siya special participation kundi pag-aari niya talaga ang show. Katya Santos as young Sylvia Sanchez also did a great job, as well as James Blanco and Christopher Roxas. Dito din sa show na to nagustuhan ko si Empress. Napakacute ng role niya, very bubbly, humurous and driven. Nikki Gil is an effective maldita, and hindi siya basta maldita, marami siyang dahilan. And nakakatuwa ang pagkakasampal niya kay Empress and yung pagkakadeliver niya ng "WRONG! You will never be, one of US!" and yung isang scene, nakakatawa siya. "*sampal* That is for flirting with my boyfriend. *sampal ulit* That is for illegal possession of ugly shoes!" Grabe ang benta lang. Ejay Falcon in this soap looks so gwapo. Malayong malayo sa mga roles niya dating nakakairita at pa-cute. Ngayon mukha talaga siyang knight in shining armor. Affected din ako kay Eula Valdes dito, napakagaling niya, ramdam mo talaga yung pangungulila mo bilang isang ina! :)

Actually, ito yung teleseryeng never pa akong nakamiss ng episode. Yes I have classes, pero nagkataong wala akong pasok ng 30. At nalate ako nung February 1! 11:30 dapat ako umaalis pero nanuod muna ako nito. HAHA! :) At ang mga namiss ko, pinapanuod ko sa internet.

Sa totoo lang, ang kailangan lang iimprove ng palabas na to ay ang timeslot. Sa totoo lang deserve nito yung timeslot ng Maria La Del Barrio, or better yet Budoy! Napakaglossy! Basta Star Cinema may gawa, halatang pinaghandaan at hindi minadali. :)

Sana ituloy tuloy nitong soap na 'to ang kabonggahan niya. :) At sana di maapektuhan to ng ratings, kung mababa, as long as maganda, tuloy tuloy lang, wag sisibakin sa ere at madaliin ang pagtatapos. :))

I ♥ Teleseryes Forever and Ever.

Oo. Forever fan at addict na ako ng teleseryes. Wala nang makakabago non.

Sino ba namang hindi matutulad sa akin na simula pagkapanganak ko, Mara Clara na ang bumungad sa akin. Yan ang Ina ng Pinoy Soap Opera diba?! :) At nasundan pa yan ng Mula Sa Puso at Esperanza! HAHA! :))

Laking Teleserye kasi ako. Pero 2009 nang talagang maadik ako sa mga teleserye na as in nagresearch ako and all, plus the following year until now ako nagstart ng collectibles. Although nangongolekta na naman talaga ako kahit before, 2010 talaga naging committed ako. :)

May iba kasi na jinujudge na ang character ko at naiinis na saken dahil sa pagiging addicted ko sa mga teleserye. Well ang masasabi ko lang naman sa kanila, hindi naman ako ang nag-iisang addict sa mundo. Buti nga sa teleserye lang ako naaddict at hindi sa kung ano anong mga bagay. Lahat naman ng tao may kinakaadikan. Nagkataon lang na nabunot ng anghel ko sa langit eh mga teleserye. Diba? :)

Basta ako, ipagpapatuloy ko lang kung ano ang nasimulan ko. Yun na ang nakasanayan ko at for 16 years, nabuhay ako ng may mga teleserye sa paligid ko. Maybe I was raised up this way. And nobody can question how I was brought up. Haha. :)

Maybe I became so obsessed with my addiction that others think that sobra na. Alam ko naman na minsan sobra na ako, kasi sobrang naimpluwensyahan na ako ng mga napapanuod ko. Mga linya nila, mga tawa nila, pang araw-araw ko nang gamit. Haha. At ngayon, pati pangarap ko. 2009 nang maaddict ako at mapagdesisyunan kong mag Mass Communication. Pero come to think of it, kung hindi ako naaddict dito, siguro hanggang ngayon, hindi ko alam kung saan ako dadalhin ng mga paa ko. Baka ibang lugar ang nilakaran ko and I am not happy. At least now, with what I am doing, I am happy. :)

At the end of the day, yun pa din naman yun eh, kung masaya ba ako sa ginagawa ko hindi ba. Wala nang pakialam ang ibang tao kung hindi ako masaya o gaano ako kasaya na ako ay nahuhumaling sa panunuod ng teleserye. Sabihin ng selfish but still, you have the last say with all your decisions. At desisyon kong maging masaya, mag-enjoy sa teleserye, at matupad ang pangarap ko. :)

Ang masasabi ko lang, yung teleseryeng tutukan ko sana na ALTA eh nashelved. :( Pero manuod pa din kayo ng Mundo Man Ay Magunaw at 11:30 am, Angelito at 3:15 pm, Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit at 4:15 pm, Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin at 5:00 pm, Maria La Del Barrio at 5:45 pm, at ang sunod sunod  at magkakatapat na E-boy, Munting Heredera, Legacy, Glamorosa, Budoy at Walang Hanggan. :)

Basta if you have any queries about soap operas, I am so much ready to answer. Hahaha! :)

And as for my final say, I STILL, I WILL ALWAYS, AND I LOVE TELESERYES FOREVER AND EVER. :')

A Letter to Diego Part III

Dear Diego,

Wow! Third Letter for you! HAHA! :) It has been almost a month since I wrote my last letter for you (which you'll hopefully read soon :D) and I like that every month, I will write a letter for you. :')

In this third letter, I just want to express how I miss you in Growing Up! I haven't seen Jason for how many weeks! You and Julia are the only reasons why I still watch the show. Haha. :)) But on its last two weeks, I hope Jason would show up REALLY SOON! :))

I also want to tell you that I am so sad, because you have not replied yet to any of my tweets. I don't know maybe you know that, YEAAH haha, and YEAAH. Haha. Did you get it? I guess you did. :) Anyway, I am not thinking of that, what I am actually thinking now is the next Digsters' gathering! Hopefully I could join so that I can also meet my new friends in person Irah and Jimel! :)

I am so happy that because of crushing on you, I did not only find satisfaction but new friends as well. It's really my first time that I joined a fans club and hopefully it's all worth it. :)

And now, I am again conceptualizing a story meant for you and Julia. It's a different concept. And it's actually inspired by a true story. And I can see that you are the love team fit for the project. Hopefully I can start it so that when we have the gathering, I can give you a copy. Haha. :)) It will be a novel type for you to read it. :)

I guess this will be my longest letter. HAHA. :) I know that you can't read this just yet but I'll make sure that I will print copies of my letters before the gathering and will give it to you! :)) And I still have the same wishes, See you in person, A picture with you, To talk with you, and your tweetback. :) Your cellphone number and follow back will just be a bonus. :)

Jamie's Diary.

Gagawa ako ng sariling blog page sa blogspot about diyan sa Jamie's Diary na yan. Pero ano nga ba yan?

Well. Isa yan sa mga kwentong binubuo ko na INSPIRED BY A TRUE STORY. Parang ang enjoy lang because it's really HAHAHA. :) Gusto ko siyang gawan ng TELEPLAY, LIBRO, BLOGPAGE. LAHAT! Hahaha! :) Kung kanino mang story yon, secret na lang, haha. Pero basta kasama din dun yung mga nawitness na kakaibang love story so talagang mahaba. :)

Kung magiging teleserye man yon, TEENSTARS ang gaganap dahil ang mga bida ay nasa 15-17s. Ang gusto kong gumanap na bida, sila Julia Montes and Diego Loyzaga. Idol at crush ko yan respectively eh. Haha. Mga teenstars pang iba sina Sue Anna Ramirez, Paul Salas, Miles Ocampo, Mikylla Ramirez, Neil Coleta, Fretzie Bercede, EJ Jallorina, James Reid, Yen Santos. Madaming madami. HAHA. :) Kailangan talaga eh. Ipopost ko kung sino mga gaganap pag naisipan ko na. :))

What inspired me to really write this story is what i have learned tonite. The last chapter of the story finally happened. I am just waiting for this time and ayun naman sakto, dumating na, so it's really a cue na gawin ko na! HAHA! :D Nagkataon naman na 29 PALA DATE NGAYON! :D

Kaya ngayon, maghihirap ako dahil gustong gusto ko na ding isulat ang kwento tungkol sa mga SOSYAL. Chaka ko na ikkwento yun. Hahaha. :D Pero bongga din yun. Eto kasi weekly show lang, kumbaga Your Song pero 32 weeks siya kase book 1 and book 2 eh, tig 16 weeks each! :D  TARAY! HAHA. Etong mga sosyal, 16+ weeks daily naman.

So ayun, nakakatuwa lang na irelate ang kwento na alam mo na nangyayare sa kwento na isusulat mo. :) KAILANGAN KO NA SIYANG MAGAWA. KONTING INSPIRASYON NA LANG AND GO! :)) HAHA!

"WRITER"

Dream.

Yesterday. Talagang nabuhayan na naman ang loob ko na maging writer dahil I am inspired again by a television writer. :') In my blogger post last May (http://ilovejimpyness.blogspot.com/2011/05/i-am-inspired-by-television-writer.html), I shared that I was inspired kasi naeencourage talaga ako sa mga sagot at napagdaanan ni Miss Noreen Capili (writer of My Binondo Girl and upcoming Walang Hanggan (ata), pero that time sa Mutya and Green Rose siya).

And now, dahil sa sinabi saken ng Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin writer na si Ms. Bing Castro, ayan talagang as in now, I am really really determined to write my teleplay. :') Well i just tweeted her to congratulate because Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin is really really promising based on the full trailer shown yesterday during MBG (Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin, ngayong January 23 sa Kapamilya Gold). Then she thanked me and I asked kung anong timeslot, then she told me it will be announced maybe this week, and eto..."Visited your blog. Nice! Keep it up :)" OHMYGEE. :') I'm teary-eyed na at that time, and was so  happy. I just can't shout and be hysterical kasi my sister was sleeping na. HAHA. :)) Pero I am really happy. HAHA. :) Then she told me pa if I have a logbook of all the TV Shows. HAHA. :) Alam ko kasi mga soap na sinulat niya. Haha. :) Actually it's really true, may logbook nga ako. Haha. :)) Promise! :D

Kaya ayan kagabi, I really feel that I need to start na my teleplay. Tungkol sa mga stylist. HAHA. :) Maiblog nga minsan ang storyline nito. Haha. :) Saktong sakto nakaisip nako pano siya sisimulan. Kaya lang naman di matuloy tuloy yung teleplay ko dahil di ko alam pano uumpisahan eh. :))

2011 Memories :)

2011 was a very challenging year for me. It's not that good actually. My Christmas wasn't good because of some circumstances. I am feeling something not good with my health. But then let us dwell with all the happy and positive events that happened in our lives. And let me share to you my happy memories last year 2011.

3. July 8-9, 2011. My Birthday! Well my SPUM Classmates surprised me by making two of my friends visit me in St. Paul. Just so sad we don't have pictures! :)) And on July 9, I celebrated my birthday with my beloved GIRLFRIENDS! :)

4. March 5-8, 2011. Baguio Field Trip. Eto ang panahon na nabuo ang Girlfriends! :))

5. February 11, 2011. Junior-Senior Promenade. Bago pa talaga yung March 5, nabuo na talaga ang GFs noon pa, yun nga lang, di kami talagang Girlfriends pa. :) This was also a very cute night for me, kasi ang cute ko din. Haha. But I actually missed the finales of the two Precious Hearts Romances series aired that time, Alyna and Kristine! Plus finale of Little Star and Shoutout. :) Pero it's so worth it. :)

6. Palawan Trip. It's really good in the feeling pala talaga kapag nakita mo yung itinatagong ganda ng country mo. Palawan is indeed a great tourist spot. The experience was really a blast!

7. Graduation. March 25, 2011. I finally ended another stage of my life. My High School life. :') It's been four years of gigs and cheers. And I really hope it lasted, for it is so dear. :)) -From our graduation song, Traces. :)

   

8. Sarah left the Philippines. Nakakaloka tong day na to. HAHA :) Super duper mega preparations ang ginawa namin. Gumawa pa kami ng Scrapbook, Fudgee Barr na cake. HAHA :) Pero tagumpay ang pa-Despedida namen. Nakakamiss ka Sarah! Umuwi ka na!

9. College Life. This is so great. I never thought na magiging ganito kasaya yung College life ko. Maybe it was not like HS na mas enjoy ko siyempre, but College was quite equally great! I Love Block F4, Lipstick Frosh, Crucible meets Cover Girls, ABMC 1 and Kwek-Kwek Beauties! ♥ Pati grades ko love ko! :) And of course, ang pinakamahal ko sa lahat, TANGHALANG ST. PAUL. :)

10. My Sweet Teleserye Collection plus World Trade Center and Twitter. ARTISTA AT TELESERYE AT SHOWBIZ. Period.

 At dahil inaantok ako, tsaka na lang yung iba ha. Tagal kong ginawa to dahilsa pictures! HAHA! :)
